A special authorization (\u201cautorisation de p\u00eacher\u201d) issued by the Corporation de LACtivit\u00e9 P\u00eache Lac Saint-Jean (CLAP) is required for sport fishing, including winter fishing and setlining for burbot in Lake Saint-Jean. To fish, anyone 14 years of age or older must hold or be the dependent of a holder of such authorization.<\/p>\n

For landlocked salmon, limited fly fishing applies in the Ashuapmushuan, M\u00e9tabetchouane, Mistassini and Aux Saumons rivers, and specific regulations are in force in these rivers. This activity requires a special authorization, sold exclusively by the CLAP based on a winter lottery.
