The Albanel sector is a mecca for sports activities, with a rich network of crosscountry ski and snowshoe trails. In summer, hikers can explore Île au Portage Belley – provided they’re brave enough to take off their boots and wade to the island!

Wilderness camping
Two campsites are available, magnificently situated along the banks of the Mistassini River. Your campsite can be reached on foot via maintained trails just a few metres from the parking lot. There is a chemical toilet nearby.
Note that reservations are required and there is no reception service at the site. RESERVE.
In winter, Association des sportifs d'Albanel is renowned as a cross-country ski and snowshoing centre. The center offers a choice of six cross-country ski trails totaling 34 km, as well as five snowshoe trails totaling 13 km. Equipment rentals. Snack bar.
